The Director of Research and Senior Communications Consultant is responsible for information-gathering, analysis, research and reports on a broad range of issues. She serves in various ways, including in a representational capacity on behalf of the Archbishop and/or the Chancellors of the Archdiocese, and in cooperation with other Offices of the Archdiocese. She also vets media scripts or the equivalent in the light of Catholic social principles, prior to the submission of scripts to pastors for decisions where productions have requested access to church property.​
