Background
The Saint Michael Award provides an opportunity to recognize distinguished, faithful service and examples of outstanding witness in the Archdiocese of Toronto. Each year, four awards, one for each pastoral region of the archdiocese (Central, North, East and West), will be presented to an individual, couple, group or organization as part of archdiocesan celebrations relating to the Solemnity of Saint Michael (September 29).
Categories
Nominations may be submitted in one of the following categories, recognizing outstanding commitment, faithful service and overall Christian witness:
As noted, four awards will be presented annually, one for each pastoral region of the archdiocese. For that reason, not all categories will necessarily be reflected in awards every year.
Nominations
Nominations for the Saint Michael Award are to be completed and submitted by pastors of the Archdiocese of Toronto. Nominations for 2024 have now closed. Thank you to all those who submitted worthy candidates for consideration. Nominations for the 2025 Saint Michael Award will open once again in early 2025.
