Alpha Canada's mission is to inspire and serve the Canadian church in its mission to help people discover a relationship with Jesus Christ. Last year, Alpha equipped over 2,200 churches and 35,000 volunteers across Canada to run over 4,000 Alpha courses, reaching over 85,000 guests.

Since Alpha began in Canada, over 1 million people have attended an Alpha. Alpha is an 11-week course that creates a space where people are excited to bring their friends for a conversation about faith, life, and God. Alphas have been run across the country in churches, coffee shops, schools, prisons, homes, and online.

2020 has been a year of disruption and change. We’ve all felt the impact. People are facing big challenges and asking even bigger questions. We also sense a tremendous opportunity. The Holy Spirit is moving across Canada and mobilizing Christians to look outward.
