ONLINE EVENT RECOMMENDED BY THE OFFICE FOR PROMOTING CHRISTIAN UNITY AND RELIGIOUS RELATIONS WITH JUDAISM
The Centre for Marian Studies at St Mary’s University in England is hosting a day-long conference that will bring scholars from various Christian traditions to explore the significance of the Blessed Virgin Mary in art, theology, and music. Some of the sessions of ecumenical interest include, “Cranmer's Contribution to Anglican Marian Liturgy and its Subsequent Development,” “Joseph Ratzinger's Mariology and Contemporary Theology," and "Our Lady in Today's Church." As we enter Advent, join to honour Mary’s place in the history of salvation and appreciate her role in bringing Christians of various ecclesial traditions together for evangelization and common witness today.
