Toronto Holocaust Remembrance Day (Yom Hashoah V’Hagvurah) 2023 Community Commemoration
IN PERSON OR ONLINE ONLINE EVENT RECOMMENDED BY THE OFFICE FOR PROMOTING CHRISTIAN UNITY AND RELIGIOUS RELATIONS WITH JUDAISM
Jewish communities around the world celebrate Holocaust Remembrance Day (Yom HaShoah) on April 17–18 to remember and admire the bravery of the survivors and recognize the sacrifice of the victims of the Shoah. To commemorate this historic day in Toronto, the United Jewish Appeal, Toronto's (UJA) Holocaust Education Centre along with other partners will be observing this day with two survivors of the Holocaust, Pinchas Gutter and Irene Kurtz at Holy Blossom Temple. Join this community wide Yom HaShoah Commemoration in a ceremony to pay respect to the survivors and the victims of Shoah.
