As the Archdiocese of Toronto's Office for Refugees (ORAT), we work closely with Eastern Rite Catholic Churches, Orthodox Churches, and Protestant Communities to support the resettlement of refugees from their respective communities. We are collaborating with these church communities to identify referral partners who can assist in the important work of screening refugee applications to ensure their eligibility for this program.

Referral Partner Responsibilities include:

• Building Program Awareness
• Identifying and Screening Eligible Candidates, confirming that they meet program requirements
  • Employment Skills
  • English Language Skills
  • Refugee Claim 
• Assisting Candidates to locate Approved English Language Testing Sites
• Assisting Candidates in completing their Resume
