Candidates / Refugees

How it Works

ORAT works exclusively through overseas referral partners who are responsible for screening prospective candidates, ensuring each candidate meets Immigration Canada's program requirements, including:

  • A valid refugee claim.
  • Proof of 1,560 hours of paid work experience in their field of expertise.
  • Test results from an approved testing organization demonstrating that the candidate meets the required level of English language proficiency.
