Anglicanorum Coetibus in Canada

The Anglicanorum Coetibus Conference DVD set can now be purchased through Salt & Light TV.

Welcome. These web pages are intended to provide useful information for those interested in the implementation in Canada of Pope Benedict's document Anglicanorum Coetibus (Groups of Anglicans), which was released on November 4, 2009.

This document establishes a special kind of diocese called an ordinariate in which Anglicans who become Roman Catholic can celebrate their Catholic faith in a parish and diocesan community in which Anglican traditions are maintained. This site will help to provide useful information about this process in Canada.

The Toronto Sodality of the Anglican Use celebrates Mass according to the Anglican Use every Sunday at 1:45pm at Église Sacré-Coeur (the Church of the Sacred Heart) at 381 Sherbourne St., at the corner of Sherbourne and Carlton, in downtown Toronto. These Masses fulfill the Sunday obligation for all Catholics, regardless of whether or not they are of an Anglican background. Everyone is welcome to attend and we hope to see you there. Please spread the word!
