CALLING ALL LAITY

Institute of Theology of St. Augustine's Seminary

Applications are now being accepted for the Master of Religious Education, Master of Theological Studies, Diploma in Lay Ministry and Diploma in Theological Studies.

Classes are conducted in Aurora, downtown Toronto, and at St. Augustine's Seminary on weeknights, Saturdays, during the month of July, and online.

There are course reductions available for teachers who have the required qualifications. Degrees are recognized by the OCT and QECO.

Music for the Popes - Tallis Choir of Toronto

25th Annual Rosary Sunday

September 20, 2009 – 12:00 noon onwards
Martyrs' Shrine, Midland, Ontario.

The day will start out with an outdoor Mass celebrated, at the Polish Altar, by Rev. Alex Kirsten, S.J., Director of the Shrine. After Mass, at 2:00 p.m., a procession with the Blessed Sacrament followed by the Living Rosary, with Homily preached by Archbishop Thomas Collins, and Benediction at the Papal Altar.

 Bring your rosary, family, lawn chair and blanket.
 Bring your group's banner and join in the procession.
 Bring your voice and sing Marian Hymns with the choir.
 Bring your lunch and enjoy a picnic, then take time to visit Canada's National Shrine to the Canadian Martyrs.

Ontario Knights of Columbus Catholic Youth Leadership (co-ed) Camp

August 24 - August 29, 2009
Fraser Lake Camp, Bancroft area (North of McArthur Mills/south of Combermere).

The Ontario State Council of the Knights of Columbus is pleased to announce the sixteenth annual Catholic Youth Leadership Camp. The Theme of the Leadership Camp is "What must I do?" and it is focused upon the question of the rich young man to Jesus.

Daily mass, opportunity for individual confessions and spiritual direction.

For Catholics 16yrs - 18yrs old from anywhere in Ontario. Workshops on leadership styles, collaborative teamwork, social justice strategies, personal development and more will be offered. Free time, sports and fellowship will also be major components of the camp. As in the past they have provided pickup at major cities to get the campers back and forth.
