Feast Day of St. Josemaria

Looking for a Lay Pastoral Associate
St Pius X Parish, Toronto, is currently seeking an
individual for the position of Lay Pastoral Associate.
The position would include working with Sacramental preparation, youth and other ministries. Applications should include qualifications and experience.

Theology of the Body for Teens
Holy Redeemer Parish Hall, Pickering.
A special parent information evening for the upcoming Theology of the Body for Teens will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2008 at Holy Redeemer Hall (796 Eyer Dr.) in Pickering at 7:30 p.m.
Starting on Thursday, September 25, 2008 running
from 7-9 p.m. for 12 weeks (ending on Dec 11) at Holy Redeemer Parish Hall (796 Eyer Dr.) in Pickering, teens are invited to study and reflect on the Theology of the Body for Teens, where they will discover God's wondrous plan for their lives. Cost: $10 which covers the student workbook.

St. Michael's Cathedral - Head Sacristan
Employment Opportunity
Reporting to the Rector and Operations Manager, the Head Sacristan is responsible for the preparation and co-ordination of all regular and special liturgical celebrations in St. Michael's Cathedral and for the management of all sacristy and security personnel, and volunteers, including the ministers of welcome.
This is a full-time position involving daytime and
evening shifts, primarily on weekends, and some
overtime depending on the liturgical schedule.
Qualifications:
- Fully initiated member of the Catholic Church
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proven leadership and supervisory skills in either an employment or volunteer position
- Flexibility with scheduling
